At Chiropractic Clinic Altea – Calpe – Denia – Costa Blanca we offer high standard chiropractic care within a friendly and inviting setting. Jason Gast is a fully qualified and experienced Chiropractor. The clinic offers a professional environment that utilises the latest equipment and techniques.
We are regularly improving these along with knowledge in order to provide effective treatment and the best patient care possible. We pride ourselves on having informed and satisfied patients.
What problems can be treated by chiropractic care?
Low back pain is most likely caused by a misaligned spine. This could be caused by a twisted pelvis, a curved lower back or translated vertebrae. This causes irritation in the joints and thus pain in the back.
The main cause of neck pain is caused by a misalignment of the head on top of the trunk. It could be positioned in front of the body due to poor posture or tilted sideward’s due to a misalignment in the pelvis. These appositions cause irritations in the joint and pain will be the result.
85 % of all headaches are caused by pain referred from the cervical spine into the head, pinked nerves in the top bit of the neck and irritated meningis which are compressed by translated vertebrae.
Pressure at the nervous system just underneath the skull interferes with the balance system. Irritation of this part of the brain could cause dizziness, nausiness and headache.
Pinced nerves could refer pain into another area of the body. From the neck pain refers into the arms and/or head. Referred pain the back is can be appreciated in the legs/feet and groin. Another symptom of pinced nerves is numb sensation in a part of an extremity.

Jason Gast – Chiropractic
Jason Gast started his career as a physiotherapist in Rotterdam as owner of a sport medical clinic. During that period he has specialized in treating and rehabilitating sportsmen of all levels. Since 1996 he is part of the medical team of the Royal Dutch Swimming Federation. Because he noticed many complaints have their origin in the spinal column and nervous system, Jason started studying the 5 year chiropractic course at Portsmouth University to become a chiropractor. At this moment Dr. Jason Gast is the running man of the Chiropractic Clinic Quiropractica Calpe en uses his experience and chiropractic skills to help patients to get ride of their physical problems.

Massages
From an early age Agnieszka knew she wanted to live in Spain….and so she did… She is working in our clinic for years now and runs the clinic together with Jason. Apart of being chiropractic assistant she is a professional massage therapist, qualified shockwave therapist and the clinic manager of Quiropráctica Calpe and Altea. In her spare time Agnieszka runs her online fashion shop Lucky Star Fashion where she sells the most beautiful Ibiza inspired clothing.

Assistant Altea
Jewel studies English Philology at the University of Alicante. Normally she works in our clinic on Friday afternoons, but during the holidays she is also present on other days and locations to cover holidays. Her social and spontaneous interaction with patients is unique and is always highly appreciated.

Nutritionist
Juli is studying to become a nutritionist. Therefore it is almost logical that she is a fanatic bread baker and also loves cooking. Furthermore she likes to seek adventure in faraway countries. In our practice she is a fresh spontaneous appearance full of humor which makes patients feel better before they even had their treatment.

Assistant Denia
Fleur lives in Denia now for almost a year. She works in the Denia clinic and you might run into her at the other locations as well to cover the holidays. Being a patient at our practice herself, she knows exactly how to manage our patients. She is therefore brilliant with people, likes a little chat in the waiting area to put people at ease and is very committed in actually everything she does.
